🌿 Welcome to the Classroom
The Willowbane School of Witchcraft is a place for beginners to build a strong foundation without feeling like they have to figure everything out alone. Our classes are designed to be welcoming, practical, interactive, and encouraging.
You don't need to know everything before you begin. You don't need a perfect altar, a room full of tools, or years of experience. You simply need curiosity and a willingness to learn.
🌙 Baby Witch's Journey
Baby Witch's Journey is our foundational beginner witchcraft course. It takes students through the building blocks of a magical practice step by step, giving you the knowledge and confidence to begin exploring your own path.
This is a journey rather than a race. We make space for questions, conversation, practice, and discovering what feels right for you.
✨ What You'll Learn
Throughout the course, students build a foundation in areas such as:
- Understanding witchcraft and beginning a personal practice
- Grounding and centering
- Energy awareness, raising energy, and directing energy
- Cleansing, shielding, protection, and personal boundaries
- The elements and cardinal directions
- Casting and working with a magical circle
- Creating, caring for, and working with an altar
- Consecration and charging
- Moon magic and working with magical timing
- Divination, including tarot and oracle practices
- Spellcraft and creating meaningful rituals
These are foundations to build upon. As your practice grows, there will be opportunities to explore deeper subjects and specialty classes.
🕯️ How Classes Work
Classes are held live online through Microsoft Teams. Sessions are approximately 1½ hours, although the length can vary depending on attendance, discussion, and student questions.
Our classroom is interactive. You can participate in discussions, ask questions, work through activities, and learn alongside other students who are beginning their own journeys. There is no expectation that you already have all the answers.

Lesson 1 gives you a chance to meet Mosswyn, experience the classroom, begin your journey, and decide whether you would like to continue with the course.

🌙 After Your Free Lesson
If Lesson 1 feels like the right beginning for you, you can continue with Baby Witch's Journey through weekly classes. You are never expected to have everything figured out on day one. The purpose of the journey is to learn and grow one step at a time.

New beginner sessions are planned monthly, depending on availability and enrollment. Upcoming session dates will be posted here as new groups open.
